Pain Control
Our pain control program combines advanced interventional procedures, medication management, and rehabilitation therapies to relieve acute and chronic pain without surgery. We design every plan around the patient — addressing the source of pain, restoring function, and helping you return to the activities you enjoy.
Pain Relief & Management Treatments
Epidural Steroid Injections
Conditions such as herniated discs, sciatica, or spinal stenosis can irritate nearby nerves, leading to inflammation and discomfort in the lower back, hips, or legs. Epidural injections deliver anti-inflammatory medication directly into the epidural space surrounding the nerves to help reduce swelling, ease pain, and improve mobility.
Joint Injections
Joint injections are designed to identify and relieve pain caused by inflammation, injury, arthritis, or joint degeneration. A long-acting corticosteroid medication is injected directly into the affected joint to decrease inflammation and provide lasting pain relief. These injections not only help manage discomfort but can also assist in determining the exact source of joint pain. Common treatment areas include the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, hands, and feet.
Nerve Blocks
With the assistance of fluoroscopic imaging, a numbing medication is carefully injected around targeted nerves to temporarily interrupt pain signals. This procedure helps reduce inflammation and relieve discomfort associated with chronic pain, arthritis, lower back pain, and other nerve-related conditions.
Radiofrequency Ablation
Radiofrequency treatment targets nerves responsible for transmitting pain signals from affected spinal joints. Guided by fluoroscopic imaging, specialized needles are positioned near the irritated nerves, where controlled thermal energy is applied to disrupt pain transmission and provide longer-lasting relief.
Spinal Cord Stimulation
Spinal cord stimulation is an advanced therapy used to manage chronic back and nerve pain. A small neurostimulator device, similar to a pacemaker, is implanted beneath the skin to deliver mild electrical impulses that interfere with pain signals traveling between the spinal cord and brain. The stimulation settings can be customized externally to help optimize pain control and comfort.
